Sundried Tomato Pesto Part 3: Broiled Steak with Sundried Tomato Butter and Goat Cheese

I went to Costco today to buy my meats and staples for the next month. I haven't done this before because it is such a hassle to go to two places, but the prices really are amazing! I was so excited to pretty much get 2 for the price of 1 on milk, breakfast bars, shrimp, chicken, etc.... I will definatly be doing this every month. Protein Boy drinks a lot of milk and eats a lot of chicken!!

I love red meat, but without a grill it can be pretty boring. I am always looking for recipes that will jazz up my steak. This recipe was adapted from a meal at Dream Dinners. It is so fun working there because they have so many creative meals, it helps me to think outside my box. If you are too busy to cook, but want to eat homemade meals, I recommend that you look into Dream Dinners if you have one in your area!

Broiled Steak with Sundried Tomato Butter and Goat Cheese
2 Tb sundried tomato pesto
1 Tb of butter
1 Tb of White Wine
juice of half a lemon
1/3 cup goat cheese crumbles (not pictured)
2 Broiled Steaks (see recipe for Broiled Steaks on January 22)

Put all ingredients except goat cheese, in a small sauce pan and simmer while stirring for about 3 mins.

After taking steaks out of the oven sprinkle goat cheese on top of the steaks.

Distribute sauce evenly over the two steaks.

It looks very fancy doesn't it! I served with the same salad from Day two of Sundried Tomato Pesto..I promise I will blog about it soon!
