I haven't made my own polenta, but when I was home my mom told me about this premade polenta that you can find at the grocery store. Just cut into it and cook however you would like, so easy! I have made it several different ways. They were all yummy. One day I will try making my own.
Slice into fry shapes.
Brush with olive oil and bake on 400 for 15-20 mins. Note: the polenta will not crisp up until after they cool.
Season with salt, the serve with a sauce. This is the chipolte lime sauce from my Fish Taco recipe.
After cutting into cubes, spray with cooking oil (like Pam) and bake on 375 for 15 mins. Remove and let cool before serving.
Serve polenta croutons over salad.
Serve polenta croutons over soup.
Grilled Polenta Rounds
Grill polenta until grill marks apear. It takes longer than you would expect for it to cook.
