Ravioli with Sage Butter

I had so much fun yesterday when I went to the Ellen Show with my friend Megan! We had a blast! There were no prizes, but there was a lot of dancing. The guests were Minnie Driver (she is soo beautiful in person), Brett Michaels, and Perez Hilton. We were star struck by Ellen! Too bad they won't let you take pictures, I snapped these in the waiting area with my camera phone before we went into the studio.

Me with my Ellen Water!

Ravioli with Sage-Walnut Butter
2 Tb Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp honey
1 bay leaf
1 package cheese ravioli
3 Tb butter
2 Tb fresh sage leaves
1/2 cup walnuts roughly chopped
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Combine vinegar, honey and bay leaf in a small saucepan and boil over medium high heat until syrupy (4-5) mins.

Boil water and add ravioli.
Melt butter over medium heat then add sage and walnuts and cook until walnuts are toasted.
Ladel 1/2 cup pasta water into butter mixture.

Stir and bring to a boil and cook until reduce by half.
Drain ravioli. Add parmesan and ravioli to butter mixture.
Drizzle balsamic syrup over ravioli. I served with sauted scallops and drizzle the balsamic over them as well.
