Orange Cheese Toast

I have spent the majority of my afternoon working on my next menu. I know that seems like a lot of work, but it was very fun and I found several new blogs that have lots of fun exciting recipes to try. Here are two that I loved if you want to check them out: Annie's Eats and Let's Dish Recipes. Remember to click above on the "This Week's Menu" tab to see what I am cooking next!

My parents made us cheese toast all the time growing up. I think it was actually because my mom liked it so much. My Gongie (grandma) also makes cheese toast for herself, mixing it up by putting sliced tomatoes and lemon pepper under the cheese. When I saw this recipe, I was so excited to try a new way to eat cheese toast! It is delicious for breakfast or an afternoon snack!

Orange Marmalade Cheese Toast

1 slice of your favorite bread (we love Milton's Multi Grain!)
White Cheddar
1 Tablespoon Orange Marmalade

Turn on your broiler.
Toast your bread lightly in a toaster.
Slice cheddar into thin pieces.
Put toast on a baking sheet and cover with cheese slices.
You may want your Marmalade to come to room temp first so it is spreadable, or put it in the microwave for a few seconds. Spread on your bread.
Put under the broiler about 3-4 minutes. (Watch it carefully so it doesn't burn)
Serve immediately!
Yummy! I know I am having for breakfast!
