Happy Sunday! I really love my Sunday mornings with my hubby! I made us Peek-a-boo eggs today! Jeffrey watched me make them and said, "that looks easy, I think I could do that." Maybe one day he will make me breakfast in bed...but I won't hold my breath! Later we are going to try and go on a hike up at Griffith Park. We will see if I can make it to the top since I haven't done much working out since the beginning of the year...
I made these bread sticks to go with my Deep Dish Ravioli. They were so yummy! J and I had the leftovers for breakfast the next day.
Easy, Cheesy, Garlic Breadsticks
1 can breadsticks
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp kosher or sea salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 cup grated parmesan
Melt butter in a shallow dish. In another dish, mix parmesan, garlic powder, salt and bail.
On one side, dip 2 bread sticks in butter.
Dredge the breadsticks in the parmesan mix.
Twist together and put on greased baking sheet. Bake according to package instruction.
Remove from oven and serve with something Italian and saucy!
I served them with my Deep Dish Ravioli.
