Picture updates! Chicken and Pasta with Peanut Sauce

Meg updated her blog so I was able to steal so pictures from her. Here are pictures from Easter at the Bowl! See how close we were!

 Here is the hilarious photo I was waiting for! Isn't the dog a perfect touch? Meg was dog sitting for her neighbor. I brought the gloves, they were my great-grandmothers.

One of my new favorite dishes. Inspired from a dish that was on our menu at Dream Dinners a few months back. It is soooo good, I can't stop eating it!
Chicken and Pasta with Peanut Sauce
Peanut Sauce:
4 Tbsp sugar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp chicken soup base
3 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp water
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
Stir together first 6 ingredients and set aside.
Other ingredients:
1/2 pound penne pasta
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 cup cole slaw
2 carrots
2 green onions
5 chicken tenders
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper
Shred carrots.
Grill chicken and set aside.
Chop bell pepper and green onion then mix together with carrots and cole slaw. Set aside.
Slice chicken tenders.
Boil pasta and drain.
Place sauce in skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
Whisk in peanut butter.
Add veggies to sauce cook for 1 minute.
Stir in pasta and chicken.

Remove from heat and serve.
So yummy you can't stop eating it!
