Ancho Chili Steaks with Frizzled Onions

If you like spicy and you like beef, this is the dish for you! Soooo good! I have found another new favorite dish.
Ancho Chili Steaks with Frizzled Onions
4 Ancho Chilis in Adobe Sauce
4 Tbsp of butter, softened
1 top sirloin steak (about 1 pound) - I always buy 1 steak then cut it in half. It is the perfect amount for J and I.
1/2 tsp chipotle chili
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tsp olive oil

Mix together chipotle chili, salt and pepper.
Rub steak with spice mix. Then cut in half.
Mix together softened butter with chilis and sauce.
Set aside.
Cook steaks for 4 minutes on each side in skillet with 2 tsp olive oil. Then place in the 400 degree oven for 5 more minutes.
Remove and allow to sit for 3-4 minutes before serving.

Frizzled Onions:
1 shallot
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup milk
salt and pepper
vegetable oil

Slice shallot into thin pieces.
Soak shallots in milk. Mix flour, salt and pepper in a bowl. Remove onions from milk and then dip in flour.
Place in hot oil and cook until golden.
Remove from oil and let drain on a paper towel.
Serve steaks with 1 Tbsp of Chili butter and the top with onions.
