Grilled Chicken and Steak Kabobs

This is my new favorite dish! Not only did it taste brings back fun childhood memories of summer barbecues! Now I have new fun memories of Barbecuing with my 3Bs.
Grilled Chicken and Steak Kabobs: the Story of 3 Blondes and a Barbecue!
Juice of 1 lime
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 cloves of garlic, cushed
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

1 pound Top Sirloin
4-6 chicken tenders
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 purple onion
1 zucchini
1 bag of cherry tomatoes

Marinate meat the night before!
 Stir together all the marinate ingredients.
 Cube Steak and Chicken.
 Put steak and chicken in 2 separate bags, then divide the marinate and pour in each bag. (about 3/4 cup in each). Seal and refrigerate overnight.
 Step one....Turn on the Barbecue!! We had never done this before. Em has a beautiful gas grill. Thankfully it used to be her dad's, so after almost burning off her eyebrows, she called him for step-by-step instructions. 
"No, you do not put your hand inside the grill to light the fire, that is what the hole under the grill is for!"...he was very patient, but also shocked by our ignorance!
 While the grill is heating, chop all the veggies (except the tomatoes) into large chunks.
 Put chopped veggies in the bags of meat and allow them to marinate for a few minutes.
 Begin to put veggies and meat on skewers. Steak will cook faster so if you are by yourself start with the chicken. Place red peppers and red onion with the chicken because they will be able to cook as long as the chicken. Place the tomatoes and zucchini on skewers with the steak.

 Be careful, the skewers are sharp! Meg poked herself!!
 Place the chicken skewers on the grill. They need to cook for about 25 mins.

 After about 12 minutes of cooking the chicken you can add the beef skewers to the grill. Save the marinate and brush on the skewers. Turn the skewers to allow the meat to cook on each side.
 I wish I had a grill!! I am coming over lots Em!
 I cooked the steak for about 10-12 minutes. Then remove all skewers from grill.

 You can serve the skewers individually or you can remove all the meat and veggies and put on a plate. Be careful when removing the meat as the skewers can be hot!

 Meg and I could not stop eating! It was just sooooo goooood!!!! I think we each had 3 plate fulls!
