Marsala Soaked Strawberries over Vanilla Ice Cream

Every since the 3Bs Royal wedding tea party, I have been obsessed with Will and Kate....well actually my obsession is more with Kate (sorry Will you are just not as cute as you used to be...). They were in town this weekend and it was so fun to watch the live coverage of them moving through the city and down familiar streets. Kate looked fabulous as usual in every outfit she came out in. She is so simple and elegant, exactly how a Princess should look! I also love that she does her own hair and makeup, so refreshing. They went to a big star studded charity ball last night (PS J-Lo my love, what were you wearing!) I wonder if the royals were as star struck with the American movie stars as these stars were with them? Too bad Kate couldn't come over for afternoon tea with the 3Bs, I think she would have had a lovely time!
I have been making a lot of desserts recently...this is not good for my slowly growing belly fat! But I just have a big sweet tooth! So I will be be devoting the next several posts to my latest sweet endings!

Marsala Soaked Strawberries over Vanilla Ice Cream
About 10-15 strawberries
3 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbsp Marsala Wine
Slice strawberries.
Mix together strawberries with sugar and wine. Put in the fridge to sit for at least 1 hour before serving.
You can serve these over lots of things or eat them all alone! They are soo yummy! Plus it is an easy, refreshing dessert for summertime!

PS I have linked up with Sweet as Sugar Cookies today! She is hosting a sweets party on her blog...sooo many delicious treats!
