Pasta with Creamy Red Pepper Sauce

Cleaning, organizing, planning.....for this weekend! Jeffrey's sister Katy and her hubby James are coming to visit! We are very excited to have visitors. It is always a good opportunity to "Spring Clean," plus I can get Jeffrey to help me around the house because he wants things to be really nice for his sister. We even went to clean my car tonight, such a fun outing! More cleaning tomorrow.... 

Here is pasta dish number 2 for the week! 

Pasta with Creamy Red Pepper Sauce
5 Roasted Red peppers
1/2 onion
1 garlic clove
1 Tbsp butter
1 oz cream cheese
2 Tbsp cream
salt and pepper
1/2 pound shell pasta
Freshly grated parmesan
1 Tbsp fresh basil
Saute onions in butter.
Boil pasta until al dente.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Season with Salt and Pepper
Place red peppers, onions and garlic in the blender. Blend until smooth.
Add cream cheese and cream and blend until smooth.

Add sauce to pasta.
Serve pasta topped with parmesan and basil.

I should know by now I can't visit your blog on an empty stomach! Goodness gracious woman. Note to self- stop by here BEFORE I go grocery shopping so I can better prepare myself to attempt and more than likely screw up some of your recipes!
