300th Blog Post!!

Wow, I have 300 blog entries! This is craziness! I always love doing the re-cap post of the past 100 entries. I don't know about you, but when I go to blogs with this many posts, it is overwhelming and I don't know where to start. These recipes are my favorites of the past 100. I had a hard time choosing only 10, so I also listed #11-20.

Top Ten of the past 100

Number 10: Steak and Eggs with Crumble Goat Cheese

Steak and Eggs...who knew? My mom gave me this recipe. She said it was their new household favorite (her and my siblings). I knew that if my brother liked it, it must be something special. He is a picky eater! The flavors of egg, steak and goat cheese are a perfect match for this hearty dinner.

Number 9: Chipotle Lime Corn

My poor husband gets to be my Guinea pig and try out at least 2 new recipes a week. I know it is a good dish when I make it again and he says, "Oh yea! I liked this." You will wow your guests with the recipe. Try it soon before fresh corn goes out of season.

Number 8: Nutella Ice Cream

I am a HUGE ice cream fan, like addicted! Hubby will eat it sometimes, but doesn't have the passion for it that I have. I was addicted to this ice cream, he was addicted to this ice cream, when I made it in Texas my sister, her boyfriend and my father-in-law were also addicted to this ice cream. Ok, I think I convinced you!

Number 7: Fried Tacos

I took this recipe from Pioneer Woman and changed the insides to what I had on hand. It is crazy the difference that frying the tacos with the meat inside makes! Jeffrey's best friend, who doesn't like Mexican food, (I know he is crazy), loved these.

Number 6: Grilled Chicken and Beef Kabobs

This is one of my favorite meals that I have made for the 3Bs. The flavors taste just like summer and bring back so many childhood memories for me. If only I had a grill! I tried to make them again in my broiler and it wasn't the same. I guess I will have to go borrow Ems grill when I want to make them....

Number 5: Beer Battered Fish with Mandarin Salsa

This recipe came from Sweet Beginings Blog. The beer batter is the perfectly light and crispy for fish and shrimp. The salsa is easy to make and has so much flavor. Try it!!

Number 4: Fiesta Chicken Bundles

This recipe was on my list for several weeks before I finally made it. It looked complicated and I was lazy. After I finally made it, it was on my list to make again the next week. It is my favorite chicken dish at the moment! It may be complicated the first time you make it, but after doing it once, it is easy to do again!

Number 3: Baked Artichokes

I have loved artichokes since I was a little girl. We have always made them by steaming them over the stove top. When I made this recipe, it brought them up to a new level! I even caught Jeffrey bragging to one of his friends about this recipe when we were out. I was laughing in my head because I don't think his friend even knew what an artichoke was.

Number 2: Lemon Fish Piccata

I don't even know how many times I have made this recipe since first posted in February. It is a staple now! It is also a easy, impressive dish to make guests. I made it for my sister-in-law and her husband when they were in town and she has made it twice since being home!

Number 1: More than a Vegetable Pizza

Drumroll......PIZZA! I have said this before and I will say it again, Pizza is my all time favorite food! Even after trying out 300 recipes, my favorite food is pizza! When I made this pizza I almost fell on the floor. It is my perfect pizza. The thick, chewy, and crispy on the edges crust is perfection! The cheese sauce is indulgent. The artichokes, and the BACON! Sadly, Jeffrey is not a fan of pizza so I don't make it often (probably good for my waistline!). It is on my menu to make as soon as he leaves town.
