Fire-Crackers!!

I am so thankful right now! My mom's house almost burned down tonight, but the firefighter's arrived in time. Apparently my brother's car was parked out back and they heard the alarm go off, when he went to check on it, there was a fire inside. It exploded (luckly, he didn't get hurt) and caught the whole back yard on fire! Thank you Jesus for protecting my family and their belongings! Here are some pictures.

This recipe is very relevant for me to post today:
Oh boy I love these crackers! My Aunt Risse always brings them over for holidays and we snack on them all day while we are making our holiday meal. I ate so many on Christmas Eve that I had to drink 4 glasses of water before going to bed to quench my thirst....Anyways, I have been craving these so I decided to make some for J and I to snack on. They would also be a great snack for your Super Bowl Party!

Fire-Crackers!
1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
1 box Saltines
1 package Ranch dressing mix
2-3 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
Mix together oil, ranch dressing mix and ....
Red pepper flakes! I like it hot so I used all 3 Tbsp!

Pour all crackers in a big bowl with the sauce.
Carefully toss the crackers with the sauce so they are all covered.
Preheat the oven to 250. Allow the crackers to sit for a about 20 minutes so the sauce is absorbed by the crackers.
Spread the crackers onto 2 baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove half way through baking to turn the crackers over.
Enjoy!!! ....with a lot of water!
