I spent today enjoying the day the Lord has made! J and I went to church this morning. I am thrilled we are liking this church. Hopefully we will start the membership process soon. I love starting my week off praising the Lord with my husband!! Then I napped (have to do that on Sundays!), went to the grocery store, made a fantastic dinner, had a long chat with my mommy, painted my nails and watched my Sunday shows. I hope your Sunday was as lovely as mine.
Greek food is yummy, yummy! This is a quick and easy Greek dinner!!
Spicy Shrimp with Lime and Cilantro
1 pound shrimp
3/4 tsp kosher salt
3/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp curry powder (I used turmeric instead, I hate curry!),
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp butter
Serve with: limes, 2 Tbsp chopped cilantro, Naan, Rice, Greek Yogurt, Hummus
Mix together seasonings.
Peel shrimp and place in a bowl. Mix in seasonings.
Melt butter in a skillet.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Serve sprinkled with cilantro and lime juice and along with this yummy sides.
