I have been making this broccoli for a while now and realized that it wasn't on the blog. It is so easy, but very flavorful! It you are looking for a quick and easy side dish, this is it.
Spicy Garlic Steamed Broccoli
3-4 cloves of garlic, smashed
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp kosher salt, plus more to taste
1 cup of water
Peel and smash garlic.
Place broccoli florets (cut them into florets if the broccoli comes whole), garlic cloves, olive, salt, red pepper flakes and water in a sauce pan. Cover and turn heat to medium.
Simmer for 8-10 minutes then remove from heat.
Serve broccoli sprinkled with salt to taste and lemon wedges.
