Sweet and Sour Shrimp Kebabs with Spicy Orange Dipping Sauce

I have started watching Drop Dead Diva from the beginning on Netflix. This show is so fun! It is like Legally Blonde. So fun! J is on set today so I am cleaning house and watching episode after episode. Hope you are having a fun Sunday.

Sweet and Sour Shrimp Kebabs with Spicy Orange Dipping Sauce
1/4 cup oil
2 Tbsp lime juice
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
zest of 1/2 a lime
2 limes cut into wedges
1 clove garlic
1/2 tbsp fresh grated ginger
2 Tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
pinch of salt
1 pound of shrimp
wooden skewers

For Sauce:
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1 tsp chili garlic sauce
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard

Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes.

Whisk together oil, lime juice, brown sugar, vinegar, red pepper flakes, lime zest, ginger, cilantro, and salt.
Add shrimp to marinate and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Mix up sauce ingredients and set aside.
Slice limes into wedges. Alternate shrimp and lime wedges on skewers.
If you have a grill, grill for 1 1/2 minutes per side. I don't have a grill, I used my broiler and cooked them for 1 1/2 minutes on each side.

Serve shrimp with rice and sauce. This sauce is delicious with my coconut shrimp too!
