Here is a recipe I found on one of the blogs that I frequent, Plain Chicken. I am always looking for new chicken recipes to add to my rotation and this is an easy one!
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
4-6 chicken tenders
1/4 cup butter
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 pound pasta
lemon wedges (not pictured)
Cook pasta according to package instructions.
Stir together the seasonings.
Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with the seasoning mix.
Melt 2 Tbsp. butter over medium high heat in a cast iron or heavy skillet.
Cook chicken tenders in skillet for 4 minutes per side or until done.
Melt remaining 2 Tbsp butter in pan.
Add heavy cream.
Lower heat to a simmer and allow sauce to cook until it thickens (5-7 minutes).
Serve chicken over pasta with a spoonful of sauce. It was delicious, but I decided that it needed some lemon! If you desire, squeeze lemon over the whole thing and enjoy.
